Giving Tuesday is the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. We had our second auction at Busboys & Poets in Columbia, Maryland on December 3rd (2024).Thank you to all who made it a success! 

Actor Geoffrey Owens comes to Baltimore to donate his talent for Beyond Rhetoric. Mr. Owens performed a one-man show at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture--90 minutes of Shakespeare's soliloquies and monologues. All proceeds went to Beyond Rhetoric Nonprofit Organization. 

Beyond Rhetoric had its first auction in 2022, and it was a success. Artists, authors, photographers, and businesses donated their talent, time and merchandise in order to support Beyond Rhetoric's mission. 

We have, four times, had fundraisers using Custom Ink, where we sell Beyond Rhetoric swag--t-shirts, hoodies (see former fundraiser) and crewnecks (see this former fundraiser).  Our last hoodie fundraiser ended in November, 2024.  

Listen to this podcast to hear how Beyond Rhetoric worked with Maryland public school students  in their first Chipotle fundraiser. While students helped our nonprofit, they earned their required Service Learning Hours. 

Beyond Rhetoric partnered with Giant Supermarket, promoting their reusable bags, with one dollar donated to our nonprofit for every bag sold. 

We are looking for someone who can organize a 5K or 10K for us. Do you know of anyone who can help with this?
